My mission—and I choose to accept it—is to support authors as they build their websites.
My Story
After years in instructional design, I stepped back to focus on family and new endeavors. I launched Sunflower Marketing with my husband, Adam. We originally offered web design services to small businesses, then shifted our focus to authors because of our shared love of books and my love of writing.
As the business evolved, so did the brand. We rebranded as My Author Website. Now I focus on design and communications, while Adam provides invaluable support and handles the behind-the-scenes work. Together, we help writers build professional online platforms through web design, educational resources, and author-focused support.
Meet the Team
Michelle Miller, M.Ed.
I'm Michelle – a mom, writer, and book lover! I especially enjoy reading fantasy, nonfiction (especially cookbooks), and children's books. I love most genres, as long as they're clean and not too scary – no horror for me!
Before creating My Author Website, I designed online courses at Southern Utah University.
​Now I combine creativity, teaching, and design to help authors make sense of web design without making it more complicated than it needs to be.
I'm also the author of Launch Your Author Website and host of the 60-Day Writing Challenge.
Adam Miller, JD, MBA
I'm Adam – a dad and the behind-the-scenes support for My Author Website. I earned an MBA and a JD before transitioning from law into property management and business operations.
I'm mostly a nonfiction guy, but I’ve also enjoyed classic Russian and Spanish American literature. I love discovering great writing, wherever I find it.​
